BACK TO SCHOOL 2012
Its hard to believe the year is nearly over as another back-to-school period fast approaches. We at Beards are ready once again to provide your perfectly fitted school shoes and sport shoes.
School kids spend a lot of time in their school shoes and walk and run miles everyday. That’s why its important for them to have good fitting quality school shoes. We believe that correct fitting is vital for comfort and foot health. Even the best quality shoe in the world will not support the foot correctly if it does not fit. This is why we carry CLARKS school shoes in 5 different widths. Our highly trained staff will provide a perfect fit every time.
We also carry a great range of sports shoes from BROOKS and NEW BALANCE. These are available in different widths fittings providing good fitting even difficult to fit feet. We can advise you on which models are best for your foot type and which are best for your particular needs.
CLARKS SCHOOL SHOES
Clarks the brand was founded in 1825 by the Clarks brothers in England. Today Clarks are made with the same precision and quality they have been renowned for since the beginning.
Clarks make school shoes for wide feet as well as school shoes for narrow feet. Only Clarks have 5 widths in half sizes, providing a great fit for even hard to fit feet. They are lightweight and have superb support. They are made to accomodate orthotics.
Clarks make school shoes for girls, and unisex models for both boys and girls. The girls school shoes we carry are Lecture, Infinity and Ecco Imagine. They come with laces or velcro straps.
CLARKS SCHOOL SHOES PREMIUM AND NON-PREMIUM
It must be noted that there are 2 different ranges of Clarks school shoes. We only carry the premium range. The other range is cheaper but of inferior quality and isn’t available in different width fittings. Rather they come with several insoles of different thicknesses that you use to tighten or loosen the fit. This can be ineffective as the insoles make no difference to the fitting around the heel. We have seen that this cheaper range do not last nearly as long as the premiums and definately dont fit as well. For more info please visit
